United Nations International Days. Active participation is key to globalization with emphasis on the environmental preservation

These are the international days currently observed by the United Nations. Actively participating in these celebrations is  important in the networking of member countries in our age of globalization. True to the term "global village" people are not only informed of what is happening in the world, but more importantly, become aware of their roles as community members.
