Drawing Orchid in Pastel

Drawing Orchid in Pastel
Drawing by Anna Rotor, 16
Dr Abe V Rotor

How innocent, how pure the flower
in spring and summer is far beyond;
how innocent, how pure the artist;
together they're in a Garden bound.

What greater joy in communion with nature
than the stillness of
mind and heart
;
when cares and worries of the world end,
while grownups live in strife and hurt.

So live well and be happy while you may,
while the flower in the sun still shine;
but pastel colors fade and so with age,
so does the Garden lose its prime. ~
