Don't shed off your golden crown in the night

and lose your beauty alone in the dark;

let the sun bring back my sense of awe through sight

with the cold wind bringing the happy lark,

to break the silence before the new light;

cast, cast in the blue sky your final arch

that makes a carpet in the waning light. ~
