Morning Calm on the Countryside in acrylic (28"x48") by AV Rotor, 2025
Calm - the blue sky softly breaks into a beautiful scene - with Grieg's Morning and Handel's Hallelujah in the background, rivulets whispering on their path downstream.
The landscape beams with the rustic touch of Amorsolo on the countryside, Millet's tranquility in colors divine, leaving impressions in the mind long after seeing.
White doves hover low and soon alight as one family. Nestled in a nearby tree a mother bird tends her young, chirping sweet lullaby in the like of Brahms's Cradle Song.
On the hills, in dark caves, along the rocky stream, in curiosity and adventure, like Huck and Tom of Mark Twain, kids take a break from school and grow up close to Nature.
On this spot nature is calling in tranquility of man's dream and concept of a home, where peace and quiet reign in his community, where seasons come and go at ease.
It is a place bordering Grimm's Fairy Tales and Plato's Utopia, far from the metropolis, from the current conflicts for power and wealth, from the shadow of the Bomb!
This place, a corner of Eden, is signature of the Creator's benevolence, seat of Man's reverence, and treaty of Paradise Regained never again to be lost or abandoned. ~
