Cellphone Tower Radiation. How do you protect yourself and your family? (Part 2)

Cellphone Tower Radiation. How do you protect yourself and your family?  (Part 2)

Cell phone towers and power lines are virtually everywhere. Cell towers or cell sites that hold antennae and other communications equipment flood the area for miles around with powerful high frequency radio waves known as microwaves, to support the use of cellphones as well as Wi-Fi, WiMax, Wireless LANs, 902.11 networks, Bluetooth supported devices and more. How do you protect yourself and your family?

Dr Abe V Rotor

How dangerous is cellphone tower radiation?
Here are cases to prove its deleterious effects on human health:
  • An Australian study found that children living near TV and FM broadcast towers, which emit similar radiation to cell towers, developed leukemia at three times the rate of children living over seven miles away.
  • A German study found out that a person living a quarter mile of a cell phone antenna or tower may be at risk of serious harm to his health, such a site being exposed to hazards associated with electro magnetic frequencies [www.EMF-Health.com]
  • Another German study found out that cancer rates more than tripled among people living within 400 meters of cell phone towers or antennas.  Those within 100 meters were exposed to radiation at 100 times normal levels.
  • An Israeli study found risk of cancer quadrupled among people living within 350 meters of cell phone transmitter, and seven out of eight cancer victims were women.  Both studies focused only on people who had lived at the same address for many years.
  • A certain Taraka Serrano wrote an article warning people living within a quarter mile of a cell phone tower are at risk. A related study states, "the relative risk of cancer was 4.15 for those living near the cell phone transmitter as compared
with the entire population of Israel." .

Other studies have found that levels of radiation emitted from cell phone towers can damage cell tissues and DNA, causing miscarriage, suppressing imune function, and causing other health problems.
  • What to do for people living near a cell phone transmitter.
  • Use of bioenergetic devices that help reduce the effects of EMR. such as pendant, chips and other devices designed to strenghten the biofield of the individual. A biofield is a matrix of weak electromagnetic signals that the body cells use to communicate with each other. EMR disrupts these signals, causing the cells to eventually shut down and result in build up of toxins and waste products within the cells, including free radicals known to result in cellular dysfunction and interference with DNA repair.

  • Left to right: Adult, 10-year old, and one-year old

Help reverse damage caused by exposure, which includes nutritional support such as anti-oxidant supplementation, so with catalase and glutathione. EMR decreases levels of anti-oxidants that the body normally produces to protect itself. These levels are sensitive indicators in stress, aging, infections and others.

Horizontal or lateral exposure (left) overshadows that of amount of vertical exposure. People on the street get lower dose than those residing on the level of cellphone towers, such as high rise apartments and offices.

These are generally pallative and partial measures to combat EMR.  There is no substitute to moving out completely from the deadky shadowclout of cellphone towers and antennas.
How can you prevent the installation of a cellphone tower in a community, say a subdivision?
Take it from the Lagro QC experience in 2006.  It was a cooperative effort first on the barangay level.  The petition was elevated to the office of the mayor in Quezon City Hall.  The petitioners won.  Today all attempts to put up a cell phone tower in Lagro have failed. It is a victory of the citizens and their community to stand up for the right to privacy, right to good health, good sleep, peace of mind.  And most important, the right and guarantee to raise a happy and wholesome family.

NOTE: The author was among the petitioners on behalf of 500 homeowners, against Globe Philippines in installing a cell phone tower on two attempts right in the heart of the Lagro subdivision, now part of Barangay Greater Lagro. QC

Mysterious Fake Cellphone Towers Are Intercepting Calls All Over The US

Seventeen fake cellphone towers were discovered across the U.S. last week, according to a report in Popular Science.

Rather than offering you cellphone service, the towers appear to be connecting to nearby phones, bypassing their encryption, and either tapping calls or reading texts.

Les Goldsmith, the CEO of ESD America, used ESD's CryptoPhone 500 to detect 17 bogus cellphone towers. ESD is a leading American defense and law enforcement technology provider based in Las Vegas.

With most phones, these fake communication towers are undetectable. But not for the CryptoPhone 500, a customized Android device that is disguised as a Samsung Galaxy S III but has highly advanced encryption.

Goldsmith told Popular Science: " Interceptor use in the U.S. is much higher than people had anticipated.  One of our customers took a road trip from Florida to North Carolina and he found eight different interceptors on that trip. We even found one at South Point Casino in Las Vegas.”

The towers were found in July, but the report implied that there may have been more out there.

Although it is unclear who owns the towers, ESD found that several of them were located near U.S. military bases.

"Whose interceptor is it? Who are they, that's listening to calls around military bases? Is it just the U.S. military, or are they foreign governments doing it? The point is: we don't really know whose they are," Goldsmith said to Popular Science.

It's probably not the NSA — that agency can tap all it wants without the need for bogus towers, VentureBeat reported:

Not the NSA, cloud security firm SilverSky CTO/SVP Andrew Jaquith told us. “The NSA doesn’t need a fake tower,” he said. “They can just go to the carrier” to tap your line.

ComputerWorld points out that the fake towers give themselves away by crushing down the performance of your phone from 4G to 2G while the intercept is taking place. So if you see your phone operating on a slow download signal while you're near a military base ... maybe make that call from somewhere else.

In an amazing coincidence, police departments in a handful of U.S. cities have been operating "Stingray" or "Hailstorm" towers, which — you guessed it — conduct surveillance on mobile phone activity. They do that by jamming mobile phone signals, forcing phones to drop down from 4G and 3G network bands to the older, more insecure 2G band.~
