Fourteenth Station of the Cross: Jesus is laid in the tomb

14th Station of the Cross, March 13, 2020
We laid down Jesus to His final rest
The day the  2019 Novel Corona Virus was declared
pandemic disease by WHO
Wall Mural and Verse by Dr Abe V Rotor

A beam of heavenly light on a wall mural falls on the roving statuette of the Black Nazarene as the faithful from the neighborhood pay respect to the Redeemer at the gate of the author's residence in San Vicente, Ilocos Sur

We have laid You down to your final rest, oh Jesus;
     Now we are orphans in our darkest hour;
How miserable, how helpless we are without You,
     You, who alone has the Omnipotent power.
To save us from Armageddon in postmodern times,
     Against an enemy even the proudest cower.
Humbly we submit ourselves to the test of our faith,
     as the whole world and humanity shudder!

“Whenever, whatever, wherever we see ourselves children of God;
 His greatest glory in seeing us beautiful, happy, and true to Him”
