Rainbow on Wings in the Night

The mayfly lives for just a few hours, hence it is called Ephemerid,
(Order Ephemerida) Its life cycle is mainly spent in water as naiad.

The night lies awake with a dim light,

     comes a companion in flight

with wings of rainbow burning bright-

     what a magnificent sight! ~
