Birds come down to our beleaguered world,
amidst darkness gathering above;
wounded in their flight searching for man,
the guardian of peace and love,
finding him on the battlefield, lost and cold,
fallen once more playing god. ~
Author's Note: This article was written with background music Meditation from the Thais by Jules Massenet, and On Wings of Song by Felix Mendelssohn. Compose a song with the verse as lyrics. Compose a melody with variations on the violin and piano, or any other instruments like flute and guitar.
