Echoes on Lake Tikob

Note flowering Madre de cacao (Gliricida sepium) on the ridge
of the crater lake, which usually occurs in summer.
It is here where I want to stay,On some bejeweled mountain tops,Where my voice dies down the valley.Somewhere before the lake it stops.
Where dark clouds gather and glitter,Like arms raised against the skyOr giants who rise and scare,But into wispy feathers die.
I hear the singing of the angels,As the winds weave through the green,And brush my face with a thousand needles,To feel the touch of a hand unseen.
