Out of life's boredom one day,

     windless and full of rue, 

from the throng, goodbye, I say,

     to a journey I little know.

I fly into the high deep blue, 

     drift out to the open sea,

out of busy lanes, and lo! 

    I've set myself free.

Little fit my gondola's in storm,

     nil guarantee, if any; 

yet in danger I sought reform, 

     for the world and me. ~
