The twin novels of Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens)  The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adfventures of Huckleberry Finn are envisioned in postmodern version in this photo of children navigating  a waterway of floating gabage on a styropore raft. Far from the Mississippi River scene in early America, these neo-Mark Twain's characters speak of utter neglect of society in preserving our pristine environment, more so, in providing a bright future of our children.

Quo vadis (Where are you going) children?
They can't hear, they don't understand.
For the essence of adventure is joy,
the danger, the unknown,
curiosity and abandon. ~
