Oh, where have all your faithful gone,
Where’s truly the love for a Son?
Is death your way to change the world,
That mankind be saved by your word?
No one answers but the passing breeze
Over the carved stones under the trees;
And I stood with the icons, to pray
In vigil, looking to a new day. ~
