It's a small garden around a tree as host and guardian to smaller plants.

A Talisay* tree stands alone no more,

around its trunk grow many plants,

making a shady place, like a nursery,

annuals and shrubs around its floor.

Now its top a tower for birds to nest,

sing with the breeze and children,

tames rain into drizzle and dewdrops,

takes away life's worry and stress.

Cactus and Agave make a special garden 

 It's not a desert but one in a dry place,

   for variety and function of a corner;

otherwise a bare and forgotten space,

integrated into a natural cover.
