Give yourself a break. It's the best gift you can give yourself - and others as well.

Give yourself a break - a hearty laugh, a get together with old friends, discovery of small things like a rare insect, waking up with the dawn. Leave the office behind, the worries and cares of the world.

Switch off your Cellphone for the weekend. No TV, no computer.

No fast food. Cook at home instead. Eat with your hands (kamayan) on banana leaf.

No car, walk the short distance. Or bike. 

Take the family out on the beach, to a picnic. When was the last time you had camping?

Tie a hammock. Be idle once, twice. 

Let the world pass you by. Just give yourself a break.

Relish the first harvest (apple mango). Author and wife at their home, QC.

Strengthen kinship. Take time out with friends, town mates, classmates.
Give a lost cat a home. 

Rejoice after a retreat

Eat with gusto (Vigan empanada). 

Paint.  Make it  a hobby

Act in a drama. (Author as St Peter, with Sister Sarah Manapol, SPC)

Eat freely with delight (giant oysters)

Child's play. Take a view from a keyhole or tunnel

Give, donate for a cause

... and believe in the dream catcher
