Before you reach the dead end of a busy lane,
     stop and look back;
Before you lose your cool and curse the world,
     stop and look beyond;
Before you get trapped in the concrete jungle
     stop and get out;
Before you lose faith in God and your fellowmen,
     stop and pray;

Sketch life, the simple and real you have missed,
     and denied yourself;
Sketch the road you have walked on, not in hurry,
     but in peace and leisure;
Sketch the world as perfect as a globe should be,
     bright and complete;
Sketch yourself in a cabin on some mountaintop,
     far from the city. ~
