Talisay - symbol of autumn in the tropics.

Dr Abe V Rotor
Living with Nature School on Blog Paaralang Bayan.sa Himpapawid (School on Air) with Ms Melly C Tenorio 738 KHz AM 8 to 9 evening class, Monday to Friday

Old leaves of talisay (Terminalia catappa), a common deciduous tropical tree.

I see ruby, emerald and gold,
     amethyst and amber, too;
richest I am with just a leaf or two,
     for a whole autumn you hold.

I hear Vivaldi and Beethoven
   from your lyre and violin
playing melodies in the wind,
    magic of the One Unseen. ~
