Spontaneous bloom signals life and death

Spontaneous bloom signals death
Dr Abe V Rotor
Mushrooms colonize an entire remnant of a tree trunk
exuding a magical feature.

A colony of mushrooms emerge from a pile of wood
 shavings and old leaves creating a fairy tale scene.

Locusts swarm for food and mate - that we know why,
when there's not enough, and room's too tight;
Honeybees in horde leave their hive, heave a sigh;
and mushrooms suddenly appear, what a sight!
Jellyfish cover the shore for miles and miles to die,
and roses in summer bloom in plenty and bright;
Sudden bloom is reason for joy, it too, a frightful cry,
as death comes stealthily in the night.
