Lesson February 28, 2012

Take me home this summer where the sun is brightest,

away from the cares and troubles in our time;

where red is the brightest color, pure and sublime,

ripe fruits to relish, flowers to caress.

Take me to the sea this summer that I may be free,

where the gaily sail of red in all shade and hue

take me beyond the horizon, and into the blue,

and feel I am part of the land and sea.

Take me out of school this summer away from the book,

and give my teacher a deserved break;

take me to nature, my second home it shall make;

and I shall love the world a cozy nook.
